Buttered bacon cabbage is a favourite for my low carb clients in Brisbane. They like all their low carb ready made meals served with this tasty veggy!
This recipe will be enough for 5-8 portions.
1 cabbage sliced
500gm bacon diced
500 gm butter diced
salt and pepper to taste
Grab a big pan or do it in batches if you only have a small pan!
Pop the bacon in the pan and fry till crispy then set aside.
Add the butter in the same pan, fry till melted and add cabbage. Flip over during cooking.
Once cooked add lots of black pepper and salt to taste and mix through the bacon!
